Mage gloves/boots?
I need to get mage gloves/boots so i can get the Mage Armor perk, i'm currently using Elven Gauntlets of Fortify Magicka (legendary) and Leather Boots of Resist Fire.

Any unarmored boots and gloves will do. College will give you boots and youn can find or buy gloves around Skyrim.

The Mage Armor does not actually require that you have any clothing around you. It will function as far any part of the gear you are wearing is not armored.

In other words you can be "KRANDOR THE NAKED MAGE" and you would still have more armour than some bandit in leathers.

You'll want to hang on to your armor though unless you plan on enchanting your clothes for resists. It varies from game to game whether you get decent jewelry or gear and that isn't always enough.

Unfortunately yes, all you can use is a shield as far as armor goes.

Why "unfortunately yes"?

I mean't it won't work (such my comment on the shield) -- I misread your question.
