You need a new save because the old save is corrupted be'cuz the mod uses scripts that are merged into your save.
tl;dr, your save has been fúcked up
or actually what if i just redownload the creature pack ..?
Probably the best option. While scritps are stored to save files, removing any scripted mods or animation tools is risky and can have permanent effect to your game - while textures and animation themselves can be usually added and removed without risk.
Creature pack isn't really required for standard animations, but it is a small file and passive tools, so having it there really does not hurt either. I have the whole FNIS setup installed, because I do need creature pack and want spells for both screenshots and animation testing.
The problem of the creatures was resolved bassically reinstalled it and bam .. ( fnis is kinda messy to deal with lol)
NOTE: Following is not a solid fact, but based on my own experience.
I have had some CTDs with Moonlight Tales. It seems to have some compatibility issues with other mods that include werewolfs. I found that the combination of Extended Encounters and Moonlight Tales felt somewhat unstable and I had CTDs with them. In some level this would make sense, because EE included werewolf encounters that may or may not be exactly in line with Moonlight Tales.
However, I also had a CTD with Moonlight Tales, when I used Preador Vision and disabled RealVision ENB from the same key - because night vision does not work with ENB otherwise.
I honestly don't know what would cause this instability. According to Mod Organizer, only things that Moonlight Tales scripts are overwriting are from Dawnguard and Unofficial Dawnguard Patch. While I have cleaned the Dawnguard DLC, there should be no reason for them to clash. Nothing else in my load order overwriting it, or getting overwritten, so source of these crashes might become from the mod itself.
However, mod is very popular. It does not seem to suffer from CTD reports. There must be something in my game that it clashes with, but I don't honestly know what it is.
Edit: Typos... ... ...again.
but i backup my folders and gunna test a few things out to see where it trigger and happens the most.. ( so far and i find it funny considering me making the assumption) that it happend twice by the campanions .. so i fast traveled outside and gunna walk in and see if that helps.. (i came from dragonsreach the first two times)
Thank-you iija
