high hrathgar word wall bug PLEASE some1 help me try to fix

im lv 70s and already cleared northpoint so i can not go back and read find that word wall i also used the script SetStage FreeFormHighHrathgarA 20 like it said and yet ag the grey beard gave me arcwind point to refind and now that script doesnt compute it says it doesnt work im very upset n confused as im not a computer wiz and have no idea how go about fixing since i dont want start from lv 1 and idk anyone able assist me. i have skyrim v as well as hearthhome, dragonborn and dawn guard trilogy additions please help me if possible

If Arngeir gives Arcwind Point as the location of a Word of Power, finding the word wall and learning the word may not complete the "Find the Word of Power in Arcwind Point" miscellaneous quest objective. The quest marker will remain in front of the word wall. The word wall located at Northwind Summit completes this quest, but only if it has not been previously found

It may be that you can unlock the Arcwind Point shout if you get the other two words. WARNING spoilers,

The Frozen Lake (Forgotten Vale -it's a rock not wordwall)

sadly i have all 3 words in this shout already unlocked its sad i have to lose out since games glitched ;x wish thier was a gm code or somethign to fix this the one listed in arcwind point wiki skyrim worked but sadly i was regiven arcwind and now does not work ugh so frusterated help some1 please

Edit: Setting Arcwind Point as cleared via SetLocationCleared fd685 1 will prevent getting sent here again - not sure if this is what you are really after.

no i bought the actual trilolgy 3 pk that added dawnguard dragon born and the hearth to my orignal skyrim the info previously was told to enter was (PC) SetStage FreeFormHighHrothgarA 20 it did complete word wall ( it was lite up i did learn it but wasnt saying completed) however after returning to agnir( w/e the greybeards monk name is sry misspelling he regave me it sadly again and the info wouldnt rework to clear it i shall retry one you listed adn let you know how went im very grateful that some1 is trying help im suprised since no oneat bethsoft seems care after i bought game trilogy;c

after typing that code still says uncleared not sure if thats for pc ( i have pc version ) or what the wiki claims typing SetStage FreeFormHighHrothgarA 20 works but doesnt sicne i reaquired arcwind pint again so it glitched and now does not work after typing it again 2nd time says error not acceptable save ;x

SetStage FreeFormHighHrothgarA 20 only completes the radiant quest which doesn't clear the location. The proper fix is to first enter SetLocationCleared fd685 1 'before' entering SetStage FreeFormHighHrothgarA 20

So Question is this the wiki site only listed FreeFormHighHrothgarA 20 and i did jus that now the one you linked doesnt work so am i screwed or is thier anyway to fix def cant go back save data is overwritten sadly wish games had things like this fixed ;c i apreciate cont'd assist.

Hmm.. type into the console: Help Arcwind 0 (< that's zero, not an Oh!)

You'll get a list

Look for the one that's prefixed by LCTN and make a note of the numbers.

The location 'should' be fd685 but, maybe with mods, yours is different?

Also, you could check on the ingame map to see if Arcwind is showing up cleared already.

Edit: Just musing - it's Arcwind Point that also buggers up the Drain Vitality shout causing, eventually, both a 1 point and a 2 point version - in addition to the correct shouts.

You can remove them with:
Player.RemoveShout ##018244 for the 1 point shout
and
Player.RemoveShout ##0181b8 for the 2 point shout
where ## is your load order number.

Of course, if you were not aware of this (and other Bethesda Brilliance) Roscaria alluded to the unofficial patches which take care of all this baloney for you. It's 2:40 a.m. Yawn...

Try this if you want. You can Coc to a different location such as "Coc Riverwood" without the parenthesis and then you can coc back to highhrothgar. See if that helps it. Basically just change locations and go back

ok so im very very newb to computers comands ect i did the Arcwind 0 it indeed stats LCTN:FD685 so if i understand albeit barely i / should type the remove shout 1-2 and go back the areas and reaquire them to possibly fix the error where aggy the grey beard is regivign me arcwind point for the "missing(butnot missing and already learned shout?" sry i know imbeing very slow and frusterating prolly i totally apreciate this though tbh sad that bestda doesnt have patched via a upload/download or w/e somewhere ;c

I think your best bet to prevent any further problems, and there could be a few, is to start a new game. Painful I know, but we've all done it and it's generally part of the learning curve. Additionally you need to do two things. Firstly download and install the unofficial patches and, secondly, get into the habit of saving regularly and not overwriting your existing saves.
If you'd had an earlier save to fall back upon then likely none of this would have happened, or would have been repairable, in your current game.

I know this probably isn't want you wanted to hear but because you're not fully understanding what is being presented to you as help (or we're/ I'm making a pigs ear of communicating that help) you are eventually going to completely poon your current game with the console..

The console (if used sparingly) can get you out of trouble on occassion but usually ends up biting you in the arse later in your game if you don't know precisely what you are doing when employing it to get yourself out of a pinch point in your game. Sorry and all, good luck :-)

i idm after all trouble ive had restarting game if it avoids having so much grey area i cant complete however like i saidim total newb to computers n gaming is there a site i can download the pathces to prevent issues for this next playthrough if so thatd be awesome if can link it and im glad to have ahd your help sry im so unknowledgeable mauch youve tried came out bit overhead myself but i get jist of most of it i believe ty
