What happens if i warship Talos?
Theres this guy named Heimskr in whiterun preaching about talos, and i heard that you automatically believe in talos if you talk to him. I also heard tht some people will try to kill you if you believe in talos.

Am i right? Does anything else happen if you worship Talos?

None that i currently know of will happen to you if you currently worship talos unless theyve updated it since last ive been on... only thing that really affects gameplay if your a werewolf or vampire, if you start waiting between feedings as a werewolf people will start to shun you and eventually attack you(though doesnt happpen often) if you wait to feed as a vampire the sun doesnt kill you as a vampire lord it just doesnt regen your stamina
I don't know. Ask the Thalmor.
You get whisked away to a magical place called Northwatch Keep.
It's filled with rainbows and cuddles and happiness.

Thats brilliant...
Considering I've talked to that guy several times (I call him "Talos man"), have activated several Talos shrines, and have been wearing an amulet of Talos for most of the game, I'd say not much happens. But then, maybe people are just afraid of my superior weaponry and warrior's physique. ;)
I wouldn't know, I'm an atheist, but I assume it's bad stuff happen if you worship him.
Skyrim is a province of the Empire. Decades before the the events in TESV, a war between the Cyrodiilic Empire (at the time consisting of the provinces Cyrodiil, Skyrim, High Rock and Hammerfell) and the Aldmeri Dominion (consisting of the provinces Alinor/Summerset Isle, Valenwood and Elsweyr) occurred. This war is often called "The Great War".

To put it plainly, the war favoured the Aldmeri Dominion. Even though the Empire managed to outright slaughter a Dominion army at the Imperial City, the Empire's military was left extremely weak, so they could no longer continue fighting, at least in Cyrodiil.

A peace treaty called the "White-Gold Concordat" was signed. Amongst demands such as paying gold tributes and ceding the southern portion of Hammerfell as territory (which the Redguards of Hammerfell were outraged about and promptly mounted their own defence, but that's another story), the banning of Talos worship within the Empire was one of the demands.

This wasn't such a big deal anywhere else, but Talos worship is especially strong in Skyrim, so this caused a lot of resentment to both the Aldmeri Dominion and the Empire within Skyrim. It's one of the main reasons why a civil war between the Imperial Legion and Stormcloak rebels is raging in present day Skyrim.

TL;DR, Talos worship is banned by law due to the Thalmor (people in charge of the Aldmeri Dominion). The usual punishment for this is detainment by the Thalmor, but the player character is seemingly immune to this, despite potentially wearing items such as an Amulet of Talos. However, Thalmor patrols on the roads of Skyrim may accuse you of being a Talos worshipper if you talk to them, no matter what you wear or say. They will attack you if this happens.

oh i see
Thanks
You can always goad the Thalmor into attacking you when you see them on the roads in Skyrim. I use these attacks to rub their snotty elf noses into the ground. And to get some sweet gear!!
The only reason why I would use the amulet and blessing is to reduce shout cooldowns.

Although I think we can all agree on something with the Thalmor...come on! take a guess! (HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEEHHEHE!!!!!!!)

My thoughts exactly; that sums it it pretty nicely.

I warship the ♥♥♥♥ out of Talos; then I go talk to Thalmor about it in a very matter of fact type way; almost daring them to say something.
They dont.
Like Mirri said, I dont know if its cause they respect my decisions or because of the bloo-soaked Ebony blade on my back when I bend over to worship but yea...never a problem.

In my experience, the game just assumes you do anyway.
Consequence in a modern Elder Scrolls game? That would drive people away and Bethesda is all about making money. Don't be surprised if death is impossible in TES6.
