[Bug] non-curable vampirism

constantly talked to innkeepers to get quest. no got. stuck as vampire.
apparently this bug happens if you have all 3 DLCs active at same time. any console command to cure it or something?

Thats strange, asking the barkeeps about rumors should start the quest. The DLCs shouldn't have anything to do with it.

Do you actually have vampirism or just Sanguinare Vampiris? Because that isn't the same thing, Sanguinare Vampiris is just a disease that can be cured by conventional disease curing methods (Shrines/potion of cure disease).

But you could just use the console:

setstage VC01 50

That will just start the Vampire cure quest.

well i got sanguinare vampiris. but they dont say anything. the bug in the game makes it so it thinks im not a vampire but i am, but odd thing i cant suck anyone's blood. and i waited over 200 hours.

as i said, spoke to inn keepers. wont start it, tried the setstage thing, cant talk to him. there is a command to start rising dawn quest, tried it, wont work.

To fix this, use the console command player.setrace [playerrace]racevampire (e.g.,

player.setrace highelfracevampire

You can also do this to get Fallon to start ritual but if you're not really a vampire per the game...hard to say how it will go.

You were fine..I get grumpy too -- means it's time for a forum break. People don't read, but occassionally it's an oversight and figured I'd paste it.

Let's see.
- Person complainsa about the bug that he is unable to fix in 200 hours and asks for help.
- Gets a link that has a fix in it.
- Refuses to read it.
- Gets commented about not reading the link.
- Gets the fix quoted by another user.
- Considers this all as harrasment.

This might have been a troll thread all along.
Oh well. Others may find it useful to know that fix exists in UESPWiki.
