1 = Requires refreshing follower inventory each time you give something to them. Simply asking them to open it again should re-apply the effect. This can be a little tedious, but game does not always detect the enchantment effect otherwise.
2 = To my understanding, muffled items with NPCs should suffer/benefit from same magnitudes than PC would. I am not 100 % sure about this though.
3 = NPCs can not actually drown. This will prevent them from catching air while underwater. Useful for sneak characters.
Well... that makes atleast 2 of us.... Such a failure. Atleast she gained the heavy armor enchantements....
Serana will use improved one-handed weapons, but I have never seen her use a ranged wepaon - her ranged destruction magic seems to work well for her. I have never given her a two-handed melee weapon.
I let her carry an enchanted sword and some soul gems for awhile and the sword charge would go down after combat, but she never seemed to use the soul gems to recharge the weapon, so I had to do that manually for her. After awhile I took away all enchanted weapons from her and just gave her some ebony weapons. She seems to only ever equip the one-handed weapon that deals the most damage.
She is wearing Vampire Royal Armor. It is a light armor and Serana has Light Armor as one of her primary skills + Custom Fit perk.
With armor class 30, Vampire Royal Armor it is placed between Elven Gilded (27) and Stalhrim (35). It also allows magicka to regenerate 125% faster.
Pretty good stuff. :)
Find (or make) the best unenchnted main weapon for your character then enchant it with Soul Trap and give it to them. You may find that they already have good items ('I need to trsde some things with you')
Do the same for the secondary weapon (usually a bow)
Give them the enchanted waepons and un-enchanted gems
As the game progresses you need to check on their kit they will fill the Soul Gems but _not_ charge their equipment (alwyas found that strange) you have to do it - but at the same time you may want to change their eqipment as the game progresses
Found you can build on this the longer you play the game. Especially when Enchantment reaches 100 and you can place two enchantments on an item
Wow! I have given her the Ring of Resurgence which she does equip. That gives an 80% increase in magika regenertaion. I wonder if the percentages are additive or a percent of a percent type of thing.
If I'm playing a light armor character, royal vampire is my armor of choice until I get dragon amor.
Conjuration is one of her primary skills (Sneak, Conjuration, Light Armor and One-handed) so she will allways favor conjurations spells above other combat skills. She does not have Acrhery as progressive skill, so her Destruction keep being more stronger than her bow would be.
