This Dragon won't die....
I shot it to the point that its health bar disappeared, but it won't land and therefore won't die. What do I do?

Nevermind I just loaded a save. Still damned annoying that this glitch even happens

Just like the arrows plunking 5 feet in front of you for no apparent reason. Weird, freaky stuff happens in Skyrim, my friend. :-)

Thanks, I borrowed it from Star Wars: Jedi Outcast, but subconsciously. I had been toying with the username Blackhawk, but didn't like it as much. Then, thought about EbonHawk, and another user reminded me of the Star Wars reference, and I thought that was even cooler since I love Star Wars too. :-)

All three, plus the guy who made the joke a running gag. My comment was actually a reference to Ryan Haywood of Achievement Hunter. He started the joke in the following video:
