How do you run the SkyProc Patcher and Activate the .esp file? (SOLVED)
So, I got Dual Sheath Redux and I also needed SkyProc to patch it. Well, it says to run the SkyProc Patcher and activate the .esp file, or something like that. I have the SkyProc file named SkyProc Dist v2.2.1, and when I open it it shows 3 other files: Libraries, ReadMe, and SkyProcStarter. Which of these files do you need to go into to run the patcher? Or is this even the right folder?

SkyProc is actually just base program. Dual Sheath Redux has it's own SkyProc patcher included with it. It can be found from your ...SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data/SkyProc Patchers/Dual Sheath Redux Patch.

Oh, ok, thanks again, IIlja!
So I ran the Patcher, but can't activate the .esp file....I have to patch it again, by the way,

I don't understand what ESP-file it is asking for you tu activate. Can you give me the name? There should be no need to activate anything, after running the patcher.

I dunno, either...I tried all the .esp files....nothing. And it's like DualSheathRedux.esp or something

did you tick on the empty box in the plugins of nmm that say "dual sheath redux patch.esp" after you used the skyproc patcher?

SkyProc tools are JAR-files and require Java to work.

I have it (Java), but it doesn't bring up the patcher, and yes I did tick the empty box

Try downloading SkyProc from here. Page also has a "Help" section for problems and tutorials.

After you have run the patch, restart your mod-loader program, a new .esp should have been added under the name "Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esm"

All you have to do is run the patcher then enable it in the "Data Files" option on the Skyrim Launcher.

ESP-file for should already be active, before running the patcher. Otherwise SkyProc tool does not run for the mod. It does not create any new ESP-files.

This conversation is from September 2014.
