Immersive Weapons vs Jaysus Swords
Hey guys, I want to know whether I should use either one of these mods. I don't want to use both, since that would clutter my game. I like Immersive Weapons because it integrates weapons with a natural manner. However, this may clutter my game. People tell me that Jaysus Swords is high quality and is not as cluttering. They require smithing, so that probably wont clutter as much. Which ones would you guys use?

From personal experience, I know there's no problem if you use them both.

There's any problem with none of them, It'll not clutter your game, both are integrated into the game world through leveled lists, that is, used by the so-called named NPCs, enemies and guards/soldiers, scattered through the world, placed in specific locations, some can be purchased, crafted, can be found as loot, or killing specific and tougher enemies...etc, so, as you can see, both mods are very well done, in every aspect !!!

They are both fine mods. I use Jaysus but that is just preference.

I use both. I installed IW first, then installed JS, and when it asked me to overwrite, I just clicked yes to all. Works fine.

Really? Jaysus Swords are integrated into the game? Like in random places such as dungeons, vendors, bandits, and whatnot? If that's the case, I'll probably use Jaysus. I'm not exactly too keen on using a weapon mod of large variety just to use only one weapon. 53 weapons is enough, to be honest.

It's not so much about what you will use, it's more so to provide variation to the people you are fighting. Also, if you are going to go the Jasus route, go here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26230/? and get the latest fixed up version.

you make no sense, how exactly would having both mods "clutter" your game? it might make a little mess of your menu when smithing, assuming you didn't make a bash patch, but having more options for weapons is never a bad thing. If you only one want, then take a look at which weapons each mod adds then decide that way.

I'm sorry if I'm not sounding so straightforward. It's just that by clutter, I mean so many weapons I probably won't use, due to my favoritism of one weapon. True, having too many weapons is not a bad thing, but I'm only looking for one mod. Both of them are truly amazing works of art, yet, I'm choosing to pick one.

that would just make you scrolling through weapon when smithing a little longer, you could still add both, and then those weapons could be found on bandits and other enemies. At least the immersive weapons I know can be found on NPCs, I've never used the other mod.

It took forever to smith something with all those other weapons in the way. Yes, I have seen Immersive Weapons on bandits, but I actually havent used Jaysus before, but I'm gonna give it a try.
