A Good Player Home?

Hey guys, I was thinking about getting a player home mod. Do these kinds of mods increase lag? Because I was thinking of getting either the Dev Aveza, ♥♥♥♥♥ Eyes Caravan, Ryeks End, or whatever homes you want to suggest. But I want to do something new for my playthrough.

I'm currently using Jaggarsfeld. Very nice, functional player home available on the Nexus. It also comes with a sort of trophy vault area for all your fancy loot. I have not experienced any framerate issues with that particular mod. I could see it happening if a mod author crammed a ton of stuff into the home, I guess, but that wouldn't affect performance outside the modded area.

I have house or manor things in Hrothgar (from Workshop) and Blackreach (From Nexus). Mainly impressive locations that are not fast or easy to travel to.

Try Kagrenac's Instant Fortress (available on workshop, last I checked). Plenty of storage, a very nicely put together dwemer theme, and the ability to stick the tower portion pretty much wherever you want. It's my main go-to house mod.

Other M's Shack series. One in Riften,One in Solitude,One in Riverwood, and one in Falkreath.
Riften's a House boat with a neat retractable bridge.Solitude is near the logmill near the boats.Riverwood is near Hod's mill.Falkreath is just in the forest but it looks perfect for a poor Archer,Merc, or Alchemist.

Haha, I've tried many of these homes in my playthroughs. Lupus' homes definitely stand out, as does Elianora's. Now... However, sometimes I don't like static items and this modder does an excellent job of making a home look a bit random. Especially if you're a fan of Breezehome.

For my mage, I am currently using Raven's Nest Tower on the Nexus. It's high in the Velothi mountains and the view is epic.

Houses are very individual. It really depends on your style of play. Lately I've been favoring smaller ones that feature a quirky design element that is also lore-friendly.
