Game CTD"s Whenever I Unsheathe My Weapon
A few days ago I started having an issue with launching the game; after the bethesda logo the game would CTD. I went through all my mods and found the culprit to be Dual Sheathe Redux. I uninstalled it and was once again able to load my game, albeit only until I unsheated my weapon, at which point the game CTD. I reinstalled DSR all over again and ran a new patcher, it did absolutely nothing to solve my problem, although I was able to load my game. I did as thorough an uninstall as I could of DSR, and followed the uninstall instructions to the letter, but to no avail. This entire week I've been trying to find a solution, and BOSS has been absolutley useless, with everything coming up clean. I have quite a few mods installed(in the ball park of 200) with a couple changing animations, so I'm wondering if it's a script overload or something. Any help is much appreciated.

It's probably because of your animations, did you try uninstalling ALL of your anim mods and run FNIS? it could be that because of one your fight anims were deleted or something.

Also, BOSS is outdated. Use LOOT instead.

you said you did everything by the letter...then I assume you uninstalled...loaded the game...saved the game...back to desktop..start again .load again.

I assume the reason you get CTD when unsheathe is that a command are loaded when game start, which points to a script that are no longer present...then when the command is called for the only way out of it for the game is to CTD.

Yes, to the letter, here's the instructions taken right from the mod page:
1. Load your game and on the MCM menu Start/Stop tab click Uninstall and follow the on screen instructions.
2. Overwrite the save or create a fresh save. Be sure to repeat this for any other saves you wish to purge.
3. Uninstall/Remove the mod in your mod manager and all dynamic files created including: Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp in the data folder and all the folders/files under SkyProc Patchers/Dual Sheath Redux Patch.
4. !Important! Load the saves you made in step 2 and overwrite them again one by one.
I am 96% sure I did everything exactly like that, but I'll reinstall DSR all over again and redo this process just to be absolutely sure.

Okay, I am now absolutely, positively, 100% sure I have completely unistalled DSR. I even deleted it from my mod manager so now I'll have to re-download it if I ever want to use it again. The game still CTD's whenever I try to draw my weapon, but at least now that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mod is out of the way.
I ran FNIS without any animation mods, then reinstalled them and ran FNIS again, but I'm still getting ctd's whenever I try to draw my weapon OR even fast travel, I am now using LOOT, although It's been unable to solve the problem as of yet. If any of you have any more ideas please let me know.

If the CTD still happen each time you draw your weapon, and you don't have other mods that interfere, the only thing I can think on is an ini. file....that the program has written something to it, and this has not been removed when uninstalled.

Don't take my word for it...I am not familiar or have created any mods, I just think on what possible ways can cause it.

There are several ini files...1 in you savegame folder and 1 or 2 in the game folder...you might try to open them in note and see if you find something simelar to the mods description.....or just ignore my post ...other might have better clues :)

Maybe you should take a less violent approach towards the citizens of Skyrim?
All kidding aside, one of your animation mods is wacked/ out of date or something

Oh my god I just started a new game to see if the problem was my current save file and it was! I can now safely say that this sucks ass seeing as how I've had my character for well over 200 hours and there is no way in hell I'm going through all that again! I've tried fast travelling, it CTD's. This time I'll try teleporting via spells/console commands. Perhaps It's the area I'm in? That's the only thing I can come up with other than a corrupted save file... and I hardly even know what that is! Once again if any of you have any kind of advice please let me know, I'm getting desperate.

Well, I am now able to draw my weapon/fast travel/etc. for reasons I'm still a bit a bit foggy about. It's like after playing a new character for like an hour and a half I was able to use my old character no problem. Now all I can do is hope this doesn't happen again.
