"RIIIIISE UP!" -Heimskr
I would suggest to anyone intending to get version 3 is to find the first 2 versions first So you have them and read them before getting the third!
You clearly have not met Crassius.
I suggest you play as an Argonian sometime. You can then roleplay lizards being sexy.
You would all get to enjoy games more if you actually took an interest in some of the surrounding stories.
There are some exceptional books with brilliant stories The Mystery of Talana with 5 volumes or the story of Palla ... with 2 books, Feyfolken I, II and III
Some are stories during Morrowind where you met people who are described in the books ... so you get to know the history because you have lived it. Where you travel to Mournhold and meet Barenziah and the Books Describing her rise to power and her mad son. No doubt some of you non book readers have gathered the Barenziah stones!
These Stories get built on through Morrowind and through lots of detail in Oblivion ... With stories of Mannimarco and the undead who you get to battle ... Where you can become Sheogorath the mad ruler and so many books of how Sheogorath shaped his world .... and how he managed to cheat all the other gods at their own games ! Fascinating stories and characters
Yep So much fascinating history and stories linked to the elder scrolls according to the wiki around 820 Books! In playing all three games and their DLC you have lived the elder scrolls.
You owe it to your self to find out about it all!
That's a pretty ignorant stance to take. I've read just about all of the books in the game. Some of them (as mentioned) are quite well written stories. Some of them are even about you in past games.
