I do approve of Origin's refund policy though, maybe if Origin is more competitive Steam will feel the need to step up to keep its customers.
Switch to GoG instead.
Can I refund games on GoG?
https://www.gog.com/support/website_help/money_back_guarantee
Edit: oops, forgot to mention the $$$ extraction too.
Still, GOG.
When Origin came out I redeemed all my steam keys for EA titles on that platform even older legacy titles they didn't own until they bought out Bioware for example .
They do offer 24/7 live chat for customer support but the games tend to be over priced and full of micro transations like DLCs, weapon skins and map packs.
That said if you own a few EA games you can move them all over with ease and if you have problems the customr support will help you get the games moved if the keys wont work ect.
I also move games over to Gog.com i think I'll be looking to move to Gog Galaxy around the time the Witcher 3 is out i believe that it will be going into beta.
