Nope, but I would recommend saving before adding mods just so you can always go back to that point if anything messes up.

Not all mods, but its probably a good idea. Usually the mod will suggest something in its documentation.

get your mods now! else it might become pay to play and microtransaction your wallet to hell.

That depends on the mod. The mod author should tell you in the description if you need to start a new game. For something simple, like a new weapon or new textures, you can use your existing save. If it is something more complicated with scripts and stuff then you will probably need to start your game over.

Make sure the mods are ticked in the "Data Files" in the launcher, otherwise they won't load in. Also it has to say "Subscribed" beside each mod. If it's still not working, unsubscribe from all the mods and resubscribe, I had to do that 2 weeks ago due to an update that buggered the game up a little.

@BarbarianHeart
well then i don't know why the mods i subbed aren't working. will having more than one create conflicts or should they all work fine?

lol i know how to sub a mod but thanks lol. i didn't know about the Data files options tho that might be what my issue is thanks

Most modders try to ensure that their mods are compatible with other mods, but sometimes they might clash, this only happens if you have 2 or more mods which change the same thing, like a mod that added a house in the same spot another mod added a castle. Other than that it should all be good

depends what the mod is supposed to do. Have you activated the mods in your Data Files folder? Where did you get the mods from?

Great, I hope you have fun

Some mods do, but in my experience, not really. Just, like that one guy had said, save before you install new mods, just in case something gets messed up.
