It's stupidly obvious that with paid mods will be a massive wave of piracy. So instead of not profitting and people loving your work, you will gain very little and people will hate you. Great idea.

Paid mods will be made by people only in for the money, and will care almost nothing about the quality of their mods.

SkyUI and Frostfall are not exactly nothing mods...

edit: iNeed has 12k endorsements on nexus.. cost five BUCKS on the workshop

What the maker of SkyUI did is pathetic, but only the new versions will cost money, hopefully true modders will stay away from the new version and work with the old one.

its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bewildering how easy the exploit for free mods is. just get a few bucks in your wallet then buy a mod, find it in your files, move it to another drive/upload online, get a refund, and finally just put the mod back into your game. who didnt see this before they let the mods cost money. piracy is literally so easy that any of you could do it without needing extra programs.

Then someone else will simply upload the mod. He might not made it, but he can upload it.
If there is a mod they want money for that I want to install, I'll definetly pirate it. There is no such thing as a big copyright for these mods or something. There is no way, you could be charged for pirating a mod.
