Where's Arissa?

I know about the whole Paid Mod fiasco, but it seems hers has been removed from the workshop. Any idea why?

There are a few mod creators who's work are within the mod that don't like the paid option of it and have requested that they be removed. Look on the nexus, Apachii Skyhair is one of the big ones.

Probably another takedown due to a modder that wasn't ok with his stuff being used in a paid mod.

Ahhh, I know Arissa used some modder assets to make it work, but I had no idea it was Apachii hair itself. Thank you very much for the info.

It's mainly because the option he went with for the free version was that free users would have to wait 30 days to receive an updated version of the mod and quite frankly that was perceived as a bad taste as well.

most of the mods have been devoloped previous to this move by valve/bethesda/and a handful of modders.
The whole spirit of moding is sharing your ideas and work so they can be enjoyed and imporoved upon by other people.

some of the mods on sale were/are making money for someone who is standing on the shoulders of many others. many of those "others" are not ok with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a move so that´s why mods are being taken down.

If I remember correctly, I heard that the dev only planned on having it pay for for a limited time, then it would be free. Though it's only been a day, I think they saw the backlash and sped up the process.

No, I think its because of ApachiSkyhair for not allowing use of its mod in any paid mod. The moderator at Nexus posted on the news site that already a mod had been taken off Workshop because it was using stuff it didn't have permission to sell. Arissa uses Apachihair for her character and I think a few other things.
