Can your housecarl/follower get a horse too?

It seems a bit unfair that they have to trot behind me all the time, LOL. Just curious. Thanks.

No, sadly they can't. BUT you can find a mod on NexusSkyrim to make it so they can.....

Get a follower mod off of the Workshop there are some great ones that make followers much more usefull and easier to customize.

Gah don't use that, it doesn't work properly and will mess up your game if you try uninstall it. No horses at any stables in my game. Its a dead mod and the author went a.w.o.l a long time ago.

Use Convenient Horses instead.

Agree with Zefram, Convenient Horses is an excellent mod and does exactly what it says, get that.

Definitely give it a try if you want your followers to have horses too. So many great features and it works very well in my experience.

I used Mounted Followers. It's stable enough, no crashes or anything, but sometimes the follower's horse gets lost. Fast travelling anywhere fixes it though.

The one Masubotleg suggested it is buggy like ¤"#¤¤"#%¤&#&

Try this instead http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12175/? or go for UFU/AFT/EFF or convenient horses
