AmidianBorn Book of Silence VRAM usage?
Will I be able to run this retexture mod with my current MSI GPU 560ti 1GB ?

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24909/?

Aside from the weather retexture I do not have any other intensive texture overhaul installed.
Right now the VRAM memory usage is floating between 400~700 MB.

Even if the textures in thier base state prove to be to intense with your set up, you can always grab the program Optimizer Textures and run it on the mod to reduce the size of the textures from 2k to 1k, or even down to 512 if you want, which will help with vram usage :)

I use some of the aMidianBorn mods (creatures, and several of the armour retextures) and I only have 500mb of VRAM, I think (not on my PC right now so can't check, but it's pretty low). Not sure I could run the whole lot, but my advice would be to pick the pack you want most (e.g. armours), test it out (ideally by having a fight in a location with the right kind of textures, fight a bunch of bandits if you're testing the armour pack, etc), if it seems okay, try another, and so on - it will, I think, help if make sure your game is set up to best use VRAM and memory in general. I would also recommend, if you're starting a new game and don't mind getting your head around a new, slightly more complicated, modding tool, using Mod Organizer, because it lets you switch texture mods on and off at will - excellent for if you are testing them out and don't want a lot of hassle if you have to uninstall, also very good if you find you can't play very well with them active, but want to be able to activate them for screenshots, etc.

This has a really good overview of getting your game running well, memory-wise http://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/619573787397876592/ I followed a lot of the advice on that page and went from a game that could barely cope with vanilla graphics on the lowest possible settings to a game that runs pretty solidly (touch wood) with medium graphics and several texture packs.

Try it and see, thats all you can do really. If it can't handle it, uninstall. They're only textures and the odd meshes so should be harmless to remove. Glass Thalmor variants have an ESP but that just adds the extra armours there are no scripts iirc. As mentioned you can use Optimizer Textures to squeeze a bit more out of them (you can also zip them up into a BSA to gain even more but that may be a bit advanced to explain at this point)
