Ghostblade (is it as good as a dragonbone sword?)

So i got the ghostblade at around level 24. It says it does 12 damage. It would normally do 8 damage but i think it is leveled. Since it also does 3 extra points of damage does it do the same damage as dragonebone swords? Does this mean i shouldn't bother with getting a dragon bone sword and just use this? I know i can't improve the enchantments damage when i go to a grindstone but the armor piercing effect and light weight would make up for the lower damage.

Dragonbone weapons can be upgraded because of the Dragon part in smithing. The Ghostblade and other ghost weapons have no corresponding spot in the smithing tree so can only be upgraded so far, while dragon bone weapons can go further. Dragonbone is better.
