Health won't regenerate unless I go back to a VERY far back save.
Before anyone asks, NO, my character is not a vampire, and YES, I've checked in the magic/active effects and there are absolutely no diseases present.

I was doing the quest to retrieve the girl for the Temple of Dibella in Markarth, and all of the sudden my health stopped regenerating. Like the idiot I am, I waited hour after hour after hour, which of course created new auto-saves and saved over the old ones. Now the only way to get my health to regenerate naturally is to go back to a previous save, which takes away DAYS of game progress. This is insanely frustrating as I've put many hours into this current playthrough and now I have to do a good chunk all over again... unless you guys respond. Help PLEASE!!!

Using the console is your best option.
Look for a command that allows you to either turn on god mode or a command that can add perks or health regen boost. before doing that I would suggest remove all the active effects and see if that does anything.
you can find some commands here:

Please do NOT edit your stats and values with the console unless you know exactly what you are doing. You CAN permanently ruin your save game with the console and especially if you are playing with mods, editing things in the console can break the stability of your mods if they rely on certain values.

Unfortunetly the ONLY safe way for you to fix your problem will be to revert to that earlier save. In future you should always do hardsaves and only leave autosaves for emergencies, and never quicksave. You should always keep a good portion of your saves as well so that you can revert to earlier saves if needed more reliably.

You can try the mod skytweak ... it lets you manipulate various things. However I concur with Nazenn don't do that if you don't no what you're doing. especially if you have combat mods installed.

I"ve only used console commands to get myself unstuck with 'tcl'. I never used console commands to give myself more health or anything like that.
