thank you. how might i go about doing that? and the saves for skyrim are in the My Documents folder of my OS drive.
It will be in users / *your username here * / appdata / local / skyrim /
There should be 3 files in there..... DLCList, plugins, and SteamModList.
Plugins in your load order.
P.S. The appdata folder is hidden by default, you'll have to manually type it in, or turn on hidden folders.
alrighty. so now can I copy my skyrim data folder into my new steam games folder and get rid of the old one?
and what do i need to do with the copied load order?
You could also use the Nexus Mod Manager, export the load order to the other drive, then import it from the other drive with the tool.

An old discussion got into my notifications!
Mod Organizer is movable, however it may prompt you for program shortcuts (especially if you moved the Skyrim folder).
