Elemental fury doesn't work

I recently obtained all three words of the elemental fury shout. When I use the shout my character shouts the words, I hear the proper sounds, but my weapon speed doesn't change. I tried removing my mods to see if that was the problem but it didn't fix a thing. Has anyone else come across this problem or does anyone have a possible fix?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only time i've come across the problem is when i've had an enchanted weapon equipped; Elemental fury only works on unenchanted weapons.

If that's not your issue, then no, I've never had the problem.

I'm aware of the restrictions of the shout and I'm currently using an unenchanted dragonbone sword, so that's not the problem either.

Do you have some combat mod or something that alters shouts?

I'm an idiot xD. I forgot I downloaded thunderchild recently. Appearantly that was the problem. Thanks a lot speedfreak :)
