Basicaly, Does anyone know of a mod where you can chose an armor set you like and have it level up with your character?

What exactly do you mean?
So long as you get the double effect from a smithing perk, you can hit the armour cap wearing steel or elven or whatever else you want.

My issue is Im useing Perkas Maximus and the Dark souls armor mods, sadly The Dark souls Armors dont scale with Perma armor ratings so there useless :/. So I was hoping for a mod that makes armor level up with your character like how Follower NPCs do to fix said issue.

Nope. But its doable.

The way that would have to work is the same way the rewards for the daedra quests work - create multiple versions of the reward, tiered for different levels, then have a script check your level and issue the proper version of the item.

Complete Crafting Overhaul has a script that will do this - it will replace the daedra leveled items with their next most powerful version as you reach the right level. That way, getting Dawnbreaker at the beginning of the game and throwing it away as vendor trash 5 levels later when you're making better gear yourself goes away.

So - it can be done, no one, as far as I'm aware, has made their mod with multiple statted versions of their armor that are replaced as you level up.

The problem is this. You want a mod that does this because you have an armor that doesnt fit the PerMa scaling. Even if someone made an armor that scales with you as you level up (which isnt much different then tempering items) it would still need to have its stats edited to be compatable with the vanilla system, and the a different version for Perma, and Skyre, And Requim etc.
Youre better off requesting a that the PCaPP team includes it in the next version of the xml for perma so that it can be given the proper stats through the patcher that comes with perma

Just to double check, though, did you run the PaMa tool again after adding the armour mod? If you ran it when you started the game but then add in new mods such as armours, weapons etc, you need to re-run it, or they'll have their normal settings even if the PaMa does have their details in the xml thing. I seem to remember there being a way you could actually add in individual armours to it when I was reading about PerMa myself, but I can't seem to find it now so I could be wrong.

Yes, you can add the information about the armor to the xml yourself so that it generates without needing to wait for a patch, which is brillant, but it s a big list to fill in for every single item in the mod so it takes a while. Theres more info on that avalible on the PCaPP page
