Use the number keys above the qwerty - not the number pad - is a safe bet. :-)

Yeah use the zero rather than the letter o then after your code space then the number of the item you want for example player.additem 000adf3 1

heres what you must do to type "0" in the console. FIRST open the console. SECOND type qqq which enables you to type "0". CONGRATS YOU HAVE NOW FORCE QUIT SKYRIM

Two days ago, I found a way, only 3 steps.

1. Download Microsoft Powertoys. There u can make combos (for example ctrl + up) to activate Numpad 0 key.
2. Open Screen Keyboard and turn on num lock.
3. Run the game and u can write 0 without closing the console.
