Hired Muscle Bug/Glitch

So a long time after I initially got the Hired Muscle quest, I decided to do it and ran into a glitch or something. I am basically asked to go to Rorikstead and intimidate Rorik. First of all, this was the only quest where I didn't have a quest marker guiding me so I found that odd. Then when I arrived at the place, I found him but with no brawl option when I spoke to him. So I can't do anything to beat him up and quest is basically unfinishable. Any ideas why this happens or what I should do to fix this? Already searched online and nothing helped.

Yeah I did that before along with other console commands but it didn't work, the quest remained at the exact same stage. Thing is I took the quest from Aela the Huntress so when I speak to Farkas he tells me to go speak to her about the job and she says that she already gave me a job (the hired muscle quest) so it's broken. I tried this with different console commands including this one and nothing seems to work.

Maybe setting the stage to 40 thus failing the quest or killing him personally to fail (resurrect if you want) will progress the quest. other than that I have no ideas.

Are you using the unofficial patches. they do help certain things to be stable .
