Oghma Infinium disappearance, in my house!
Hi there, Dragonborns.

I've taken Oghma Infinium from Hermanus Moria and placed it on a table, in my house in Solitude. I haven't read it, so I had some other missions and when I got back home, the book was gone!
Please help, I've no idea where it is and I can't load an older game, 'cause I've moved on the main story too much... Tell me I haven't lost the book forever!!

Thanks, Helen. :)

Lost in proudspire manor? Well thats new. If it was a hearthfire house I would suspect the house respawned and sent it flying off to a corner somewhere. Never heard of things getting lost in the basic houses though.
Check whenever you first dropped it. Skyrim Items are buggy and in order to get an item to stay exactly where you put it, you have to drop it, leave the cell (house, dungeon etc), come back in, and then place it. So it might be somewhere else if you dropped it in a different location before moving it to your table.

I've already tried, but I'll try again, just to be sure.

Console commands can cause unforeseen problems later. It's best to only use them as a last resort.

[edit]: Five minutes? You google-fu needs work grasshopper.
