Any good natual spawning player homes in vanilla Skyrim?

I need a home for my character or at least somewhere safe to store my stuff because I'm starting to get overburdened, but I don't have enough money right now to buy a house. Anybody know where a good place that I can store my stuff at where it will be safe and won't despawn? Thx!

if you go back near riverwood there is a place with a basement called Anises Cabin if you enter her basement and come back out she will try to kill you then you can store your stuff in her basement chest or if she has one in the actual cabin.

I join the Companions. There is a chest in their sleeping quarters that is great for storing stuff in Whiterun - where all the crafting facilities and merchants are.

thats eveen better than my one do what he said companions^^^ although bare in mind any place you store stuff it can be stolen if its not a safe place or a place you own.

Homes spawn?

The Abandoned House in Morthal or whatever it is called. After you complete the House of Horrors quest you can store things in there. Technically it is your house but the beds don't give sleeping bonuses and you can't modify it.

It's in Markarth.
I totally forgot about that house, even though I've done a playthrough where it was my first place. As far as free houses go it's probably the best one. Lots of storage, and it's in a city. If I want an early place to stash stuff I usually just go to the College, but there's a dearth of vendor variety there.

If you're modding, get one of the mods that give you a free player home.

Riverwood Camp in the Workshop. Gives you a tent to sleep, a safe chest and a cooking pot. Just outside Riverwood and up the right side by the guards sleeping bags.

I prefer this as it is more lore friendly at the beginning. I've used this several times up to lvl 67 and never had any problems with this mod.
