whiterun stable merchant dead for no reason
Im really confused about this but when i really needed a horse to carry all my loot i came to the whiterun stables to get a horse but i found the horse seller DEAD so now i could NOT get a horse, then i attempted to go to a earlier save to see if the horse seller was still dead but when i went to a fairly far away save he was STILL DEAD not only that but my saves before the one i went to go check to see if the merchents was dead dissapeared FOR no reason im very mad at this because i got to level 15 and was enjoying the game alot but the %&%&ing game had to %&%& with me.

Were the saves you lost Autosaves or quicksaves? I believe you only get three autosaves before they are overwritten and one quicksave.

You should be using the SAVE feature which gives you a numbered save, or make your own named save.

To make a named savegame. Press Tilde key (to the left of 1 and uppercase) then type savegame xxxxxxxxxxx with x being the title you assign to it. If your save game title consists of more then one word then you should enclose it in quotes. savegame "xxxxxxx xxxxxx"

they were autosaves, so what your saing is when i went to an earlier save the later saves were deleted.

The saves wern't deleted ... they were over-written by new auto saves.
At least you now know to make a quick save or a hard save before you call up any earlier saves.
You've probably only lost an hour or so in gametime.
Good luck in the future

yes, because the slots had to be open when Skyrim quick saved while your earlier save was loaded. You don't have auto/quick saves associated with any of your hard saves, your 3 auto iirc and 1 quick save slots will be re-used by whatever save you load.

If the data is important make hard saves and back them up to an external device.

Although Whiterun is a common place to get your first horse, you can also get more horses from other stables throughout Skyrim land. An easy way to get there is just to get on the wagon that will take you to those new cities.

Most merchants have repalcement option, meaning that someone else will (once) take their place, if they die. In Skulvar's case this would be his son, Jervar.

I advice against playing with the console, if there is no need. Check if Jervar's AI is updated for him to replace Skulvar as the horse merchant of Whiterun Stables.

He did it.

Or he is in mourning and we are accusing him. Or hunting down the giant to avenge his father. Or dead too. Power to replace the horse merchant given to the player?
