@Brandybuck, the Crusader in Oblivion does have restoration as a Major skill but you're right that the Knight doesn't, the Knight uses Illusion
Yeah, if I have enough magicka fast healing is useful. Only if I have a chance to get away though, stopping in the middle of combat is never a good idea... long fights against legendary dragons is handy as they rarely attack continuously.
Restoration is a perfectly valid school of magic and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
I can think of a few reasons:
1: roleplaying.
They want to roleplay warriors, using magic or sneaking remove's the feeling of being a meatsheild.
2:Min-max mentality.
If you are going to build the strongest warrior you can you carefully consider where you want your perks to go, when to take mana, health, or stimina upgrade, what to wear(or if you craft it yourself or not.
3: Restoration is a perfectly valid school of magic.
But magic cost mana to cast and a potion can heal you up quicker most of the time.(potions can also be favorite)
So if you are going to be a badass warrior why waste perks on a magic three when there are more important tree's to focus on[/puke]
Ugh....i will never understand the appeal of being a braindead meatsheild swinging a piece of metal around trying to hit something.
Atleast assasins and rogue's provide something of an imangination.
Trying not to get caught require's a certain creative mind after all.
I will just stick to my summons and spells.
Knowledge is power after all.
And here I thought the whole point of the system in TES was to play as I wanted. Silly me.
I know I thought that too. I guess Imma silly too.
