Angry Mob Killing Grelod the Kind
Ok, i'm playing a wood elf "paladin" and got to the Innocence Lost quest where i have to kill Grelod the Kind.

That quest really seems wrong for a righteous character of goodness and order, so i played around a bit to see if there was ANY other way of dealing with her before i killed her to finish the quest.

Yeah i know, she's evil, and if you think about it, if Grelod weren't a feeble old lady running an orphanage but instead the jailer and torturer in some dark dungeon, we'd likely not have a second thought about ending her.

But even so... i snuck up on her, thinking i was about to off her, when i see the pickpocket sign pop up. So i start thinking about how funny it would be to just humiliate her and take her clothes. She may be evil and cruel, but she won't have her dignity. So i take a book she has on her and click on her 15 coins. Then she interrupts and starts running around for her life shouting stuff like "i surrender!". So....

I chase her around the orphanage.

Round and round and round we go, till she goes outside to hide in the walled off yard. So i go out there and chase her back in. While i'm out there i hear some woman shout "there you are!"

Back inside, i chase Grelod to her room, then the next thing i know, someone comes running in and stabs her with a knife. It's Edda, the beggar!!!

It still finished the quest for me, and i did nothing to intentionally get her killed.

Note: i did this around twilight to nightfall, i don't know if the time of day affects where Edda will be in the market to hear the ruckus and respond, i also don't know if any other NPCs will respond. I plan on testing this later today.

UPDATE: changed the name to no longer imply morality of the character being played.
