Skooma Trade quest, becoming Riften Thane


- Go to Riften.
- Find a female Argonian named Wojeeta.
- Ask her where she gets her skooma.
- Find Jarl Laila Law-Giver inside the Mistveil Keep (Riften's castle).
- Tell her about the skooma dealer.
- Go inside the Riften Warehouse, in the port.
- Kill Sarthis Idren.
- Grab the key on his body.
- Unlock the door in the basement.
- Interact with Sarthis's Satchel, exactly where the quest tell to go.
- The satchel contains golds, lockpicks and a paper titled "Shipment's Ready".
- None of those items update the quest, the map still points on Sarthis's Satchel.

I might have started this a long time ago and the satchel is empty, because I might have taken it a long time ago. If I dont have the paper to read, what do I do?

Use console commands to either advance the quest stage or add the note to your inventory

Tried spawning it in and reading it. The quest didnt update, also tried to put it back, leave the house, come back and get it and read it again, didnt work. How do I advance the quest from the stage I am at? What is the command?

i'm havig this exactly same prolem and i want to know what console commands i could use, can someone help?

open the console with ~ and type

setstage freefromriften20 200

that should finish the quest and start the next one, if not then afterwards type

setstage freefromriften01 10
