How do I finish "Break of Dawn" Quest-Solved
I've a little problem with the break of dawn quest I'd like some help with, please.

I kill the final Mage (Malkoran??) and then I take the Dawnbreaker Sword. I'm then transported high above Skyrim for a last conversation with Merideth??
When that is finished I fall back to earth (Skyrim) and die .... everytime.
I have a save just before I take the sword.
I've tried giving my follower all my goods etc so I don't weigh too much but I still die.
I've been to Skyrim Wiki before I came on here but it mentions nothing. It just says I have a final conversation ... and a great veiw ... which is true.
Any tips??

open console and type this tgm then press enter, do the same thing when you land on the ground

Got it ......
When you speak to Merideth the final time you get 2 options to answer her ..
1: Take her sword but don't spread her name
2:Spread her name and take the sword

If I choose the 1st .. die everytime
Choose the 2nd and survive the fall

I've done a couple of tests to confirm this.
I hope this helps anyone else who is stuck here.

tgm means toggle god mode

But once I start using TGM ... There's no going back ... I'm trying to avoid ever resorting to it.

Try going out of room, save game again and then take the sword and see what happens. I had to replay part of it to fix, mostly I do what you have done and don't get the issues. (Weight of items is not an issue, unless over burden.)

Just use TCL before you hit the ground to slow your fall speed, then use TCL again to fall safely to the ground.

TCL may be a cheat, but sometimes you have to use it when you get stuck and can't fast travel.

i'm not a user of console commands myself, but every once in awhile you need help. When i do this quest i wait until NOON to do the whole quest and never have problems
