Armor rating is negative.

Hi iam forced to play mage couse my rating is minus so bad that i die easy as 1-2 hits from avarage foes i have heavy sthalrim whit 99 points in heavy armor + enchantments to ad extra armor So i should have above 800 in total But in my stats it shows -340 ? how come ? does a high lvl drop the rating ?

That should reset AR to 0, then you just equip/cast what you had before and it should work normally."

After removing all armor and typed the command the stats was more then -1000 but your command Didnt work, i might have typed in it wrong tho. tested 3 times whit some changes but i will try again.

It's impossible to have negative armor rating, unless a debuff is in place.

This is probably a mod conflict.

I found that the Ancient Knowledge Perk gained from the Lexicon quest triggerd this bug for me. If you have that effect try

player.dispel 0010EB60

It worked for me.

actually fixed it for me, i just did the quest but couldnt figure out where the negative values came from

Sorry to necro this post, but I actually found something for this post.

If you're using a Conjurer of Sorts playing with Ordinator Mod.
Avoid using the "Edge of Oblivion" perk, unless you are to have -250 Base (Naked) Armor Rating.

Edge of Oblivion 'perk' = Forced Conjurer Perk. This is a general Debuff
