HUD is gone?

Okay so this never happened on any of my old computers saves. Just putting that out here. I can also upload a list of my mod order, but when I disabled all mods (except the unofficial patches) it still continued to do this.

My HUD is completely gone. This isn't me accidentally sliding it's opacity to 0% either. The bar is on the far right. (I thought I accidentally made it 0% opacity so I messed with the slider after I noticed it didn't show up after Alduin tries to kill you in Helgen). Tried togglemenus as well, nothing. The HUD won't show up.

My crosshair is gone, my magicka/health/stamina bars will not show up when I'm using said bars, and when I sneak the eye is gone.

Tried validating the game cache and no progress, any help?

*I also loaded an old file from another computer, so no prior problems and now it has this problem. So it's not the save file itself I think. :(

By this do you mean you typed "togglemenus", or do you mean you typed the actual command that toggles menus (that being "tm")?

Are you using iHUD.

I think X is the default button to show your hud because it is hidden by default using iHUD.

It sounds like a mod-problem, most definetly, but skyrim is a strange freaking game...one day, the skyrim over-lay just decided to say..♥♥♥♥ all, and never ever showed -up in game, and the overlay isn't disabled..it only does this in my skyrim game, even after I re-installed the game 3 time..because, that's just what I was going to suggest you to do, re-install your game.

Regarding removing addons...never forget that removing mods..won't remove them from your save, they will ALWAYS remain there, like STD's, that's why it;s very important to read the uninstall mod instruction make it clean, and the best solution to clean a broken save, is using the save-cleaner tool.

You are saying, you used an older save prior from your problems, that can only lead me to belive, your problem is inside your game files, you might want to re-install skyrim, and be careful with your mods

I am not using iHUD. The only mod I can think of that might alter the HUD would be SkyUI but I disabled that and the HUD did not come back.

I thought it was, but none of my old save files had this problem prior to this laptop, sorry if I was unclear :( But I'll re-install it and use a clean save just in case.

I've never had this problem and I've been using these mods since I got Skyrim for PC/they came out. But this laptop is pretty much the same as my old one, so idk?? It plays perfectly fine, just no HUD.

I've never had this problem before, sadly the only thing I could suggest you, is to try the save cleaner to diagnose your problem, so this way you might have a clue what might be causing your problem : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/?
Take this tool, and use it on your save, read the read-me, its very easy to use.
IF YOU HAVE ANY #(hastag) lines in the left box..that means you have orphaned scripts that are palguing your save, and it will also say the name of the specific mod.
IF there aren't any #, that means there is NO mod problem, If you rule out the MOD factor, that means the problem, is either your game (maybe reinstall?), or something else -> meaning, your current pc, or whatever you are using, you might have some programs interfering with your game, wouldn't surprise me.

Thanks for leading me to the save game cleaner, it might come in handy when I have to clean my older files I haven't touched in ages haha.

Says there's nothing wrong with the saves (No orphan scripts detected). So I'm going to re-install. Wish me luck! :v

Alas, it did not. I've also edited my Skyrimprefs.ini to force subtitles and crosshair to show up, and it did not work, but the game believes they're on. It's like the image files for the HUD are just not there. :\

idk I have Windows 8 so if anyone with Windows 8 has had a similar problem please do tell me!! :( I miss this game a lot and it's kind of impossible to play without the sneak crosshair/life bars :(

Well it seems like you have a problem with your computer most likely..try installing a mod like iHuD, that messes with the HUD interface, and see if you can enable the HUD with that...I don't know what else to suggest...

Same problem on WIn 10. Does win 8 has a "Game panel" or something? I think this is the culprit since my HUD works if i load game on Vista, but hell it runs so freaking smoothly on 10...

Not sure b/c I think this problem has manifested on multiple computers I've owned, mods or not. (Win 7 or 8, I think I have 8.1 currently?) There's been no fix that I know of sadly, just try really hard to look directly where the crosshair is supposed to be, and keep the wiki up for conversations, sorry. :( (or toggle god mode and go wild haha).

As for Game Panel, I'm not sure exactly how the games on this system work (8.1 is terrible imo I can't stand it), but I've dumped most of the pre-installed games/apps and such, if that makes a difference.

Sounds crazy, but after a little digging myself as I have this issue too with Nvidia (So it's not just an AMD issue as some believe, or driver) the advice was to change your shadow settings from Ultra to High. Mine was already on high, but changing it back to Ultra fixed it. So.... yeah, call me crazy til you try it yourself, worked wonders for me.

For others (who encounter this problem) in brief:
Make graphics settings ultra and try again
if your settings still ultra change high and return ultra again, worked for me
