What is Sujamma ?
I know it's an alcoholic beverage. but what type is it? is it brewed like beer, ale?
is it fruit based like wine? Is it grain based like whiskey? Starch based like vodka?

just curious,

Mazte is probably rice wine and Sujamma could really be just wine. Well wine mixed with shoe polish and sulfuric acid.

EDIT: SOURCE: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Sujamma_Berries

It's a wiki and I don't play ESO, so up to you.

There was sujamma in wyrmstooth also I believe.
There's also Sujamma in Dragonborn dlc.

They tell you what it is in Morrowind. I think it's Ajira who tells you. But I can't find it online now. The local drinks are sujamma, mazte, flin, grief, and shein. I think flin actually comes from Cyrodil and that's just what they call cheap imported wine in Morrowind. Of the others, they are made various from ash yam, saltrice, whickwheat, etc. I could find out that Mazte is a saltrice beer, probably similar to sake. Sujamma is pricier and better quality. My best guess without loading the game and asking Ajira again, is that it's the whickwheat ale.

I'm guessing it's similar to an ancient Summerian or Egyptian beer.

I think Matze is more like a rice beer than wine.

As name suggests.. or maybe it's just spelling mistake it would explain why here in Draognborn dlc its called Matze and not Mazte

Please stop with the incessant thread necromancy, you've been necroing numerous threads over the last couple days where the last post before you necro'd has been years ago.

Users that haven't opted out of thread responses will receive notifications about new posts for something that probably hasn't been relevant for months, if not years. It's considered VERY bad form to thread necro, especially if the issue has been solved already or the original post wasn't that truly important to begin with.

While I'll admit that these forums aren't as well-moderated as pretty much any forum with active true forum-wide mods and the odds of being forumbanned are pretty much nil, it's considered common courtesy to refrain from things like thread necromancy unless the thread that has been necro'd contains vital, relevant information or a significant update to the thread's original purpose(E.G. an update caused an old gamebreaking bug to resurface, here's the old thread with the fix). So please, do everyone a favor and don't necro threads just for giggles.
