Never come across any Final Fantasy Sword.
Katanas, Tantos and the like are varied enough for me. I'm currenlty using the Sorrow Tanto as my dagger and loving it.

some really nice weapons in this mod, glad I installed it
@ OP, If you don't think there is enuf of what you want, then open up the CK and make your own.

If I could just choose a couple of the weapons I would use the mod, but far too many of them are silly, lore-inappropriate, and downright non-immersive.

The only thing I was unimpressed with was the lack of Scabbards on most weapons, but other than that the weapons looked nice.

immersive armor seems like a better mod. idk its still early i guess i'll stick it out for a while with it

The point of "immersive" armor is that it fits well with the lore while expanding it a bit. The point is not to make you feel like you are in WoW or Final Fantasy, the point is for the weapons to make sense in the setting while looking better.

To that end, I think Immersive Weapons and Armor are great mods.
To the Op, yes. Immersive armour is a better one. For weapons, Jaysus swords is the best.

Agree with you abit there. For example the "Gravestone" sword or whatever its called is over the top.
Overall great mod though, endorsed.

Viking double headed axe or whatever its called doesnt make sense in the setting. idc that nords are based on viking lore.
Immersive weapons is a great weapons mod, not too realistic(realistic thinks can be boring sometimes) and no too unrealistic(mmo's style.)

I decided against using it just for the sheer amount of Japanese blades.

idk there is some ridiculous S*** you can craft, like the poker blade, i think it was called. But still i dont dislike the mod yet, found a weapon called the Guardian sword or something thats cool. I also liked the look of the Steel longsword, though i was sorry to find it does less then the Steel Greatsword.
