Need some help with the Blue Palace

[Mog-Dog]

I just completed the quest to stop the wolf queen from coming back. I returned to solitude and every time I try to enter the blue palace my game crashes to desktop. I have not installed any new mods or removed any. I have no idea why it would let me in before the quest and now crashes after I finished it unless its something to do with the quest. Any ideas?

Is there a command to mark that quest as turned in? I went there on my other guy and it loads him into the palace fine.

I tried completing the quest with the console and no effect. I tried telporting into the blue palace, that just crashed on load again. I have no clue what this could be. Mainly because it started after a quest rather than after installing or removing a mod

Shame that you have tried some console commands before you have got any answer. You can ruin your save whit those.


First do you have any mods?
If so, what are they.

Do you have Unofficial Patches installed?

I made an extra save just in case. Its a long list, I think it has more to do with an issue in a script that it isnt loading in the blue palace because of this quest. Unfortunately I deleted my earlier saves on this character earlier without thinking and cannot revert. So its fix it or get rid of her entirely. All of my other characters can run around freely in and out of the blue palace without issues so idk.

Basically as soon as I got the quest to speak to falk firebeard after killing the necromancers I started having issues. I crashed once entering solitude, reloaded and it went in fine so nbd. It happens sometimes, never crashed until that quest marker which I was very surprised with. Hit that blue palace door and ctd. No questions asked.
