Is there a mod to keep inventory from being sold?
I may be missing the right keyword to use, and it's already out there, but is there a mod that would keep particular inventory items from being sold? It can likely be dropped into a chest, but not sellable. So it's kind of like marking it as a quest item so it can't be sold, but still a little different so it could be stored away when you get back home.

For example, for those who are familiar, I liked the system implemented in Lord of the Rings Online. You can clearly see which items you didn't want to sell so that they would not accidentally get sold.

However, for Skyrim, I don't need it to disappear from the list of things to sell, in case that is not available or possible. Though that would also be similar to where the list of items you can sell does not include quest items or stolen goods, so it might be something possible also and is already out there, too.

Thanks!

The closest I know of is Jaxonz Protect Favorites which brings up a confirmation box if you attempt to sell a favorited item to help protect it.
Other then that, no I dont know of such a mod.

This is not a mod, but helps me sort things so at least my enchanted armor, weapons, rings, amulets are sorted before all other items. While enchanting there is an option to rename your item. Adding the word "able" to the front, puts all my special created items. When selling I just start under that list.

I tried the Jaxonz Protect Favorites and that seems to achieve what I wanted. In fact, it even calls my favorited items as a "quest item" if I attempt to move it out of inventory or sell it, so that was even the same thing I had expected in such a mod.

For renaming, Jaxonz also has a renamer mod, which I'll probably do, too, since there were some items that I think I'd like to call differently.

Thanks everyone!

You might want to just grab the mod called Jaxonz Utilities, which contains all of the jaxonz mods in one plugin and then you can activate and deactivate them via the MCM so you only have to use what you want, and also makes a bit easier to fit into a load order
