Report a translation problem
To verify Game Cache;
- First delete the appcache folder here; C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\appcache
- From Steam client Library view, right click the game.
- Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache…
Crashes before Bethesda logo are very rare. Usually all crashes happen after the Bethesda screen, when we are dealing with mod related issues.
That makes me think that some other program may be interfering with your game.

System specs:
AMD FX 6300 six core processor 3.5GHz, 12.0GB ram, Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 2gb, Windows 7 64 bit. 1 tb of HDD storage.
Ilja: not using XFire. I know it's unusual, I've done a fair bit of googling on this subject.

Finally, I am not new to modding and I know a fair bit about computers, so feel free to give me technical terms.
If using SKSE and this is happening then one of your mods is the issue maybe needs another mod that uses SKSE to activate through..
Unofficial patches were missing from your game and are vital for the smaller missing issues etc. But that your choice in using them or not.
Some mods maybe looking and require them!.
