(Solved)SKSE Skyrim Crashing on startup.
When I launch Skyrim with SKSE, it crashes before the Bethsoft video shows. I am running it as administrator but it still doesn't work.

Start with verifying your game cache like this;
To verify Game Cache;
- First delete the appcache folder here; C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\appcache
- From Steam client Library view, right click the game.
- Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache…

I've tried that... a lot... Steam says everything is normal.

Any other mods yet? Are you starting your game by running skse_loader.exe instead of the skyrim launcher?
Rogue Jun 23, 2015 @ 1:22pm
I have a pretty long load order... and yes I'm running skse_loader. SKSE used to work perfectly fine, and I've been using the same mods for more than a month and only adding mods I know are stable.

Have you ran LOOT to sort your load order, it is possible you have a conflict. It can be found here; https://loot.github.io/

I use LOOT whenever I install a new mod.

It sounds like a mod issue, at this point IDK. I'm sure someone will be along to help. To start though, post a list of your mods in load oder. And PC specs.

Are you using Xfire?

Crashes before Bethesda logo are very rare. Usually all crashes happen after the Bethesda screen, when we are dealing with mod related issues.

That makes me think that some other program may be interfering with your game.

Going in order to the reponses:
cfs11: here's my load order http://pastebin.com/9JMRQDqY
System specs:
AMD FX 6300 six core processor 3.5GHz, 12.0GB ram, Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 2gb, Windows 7 64 bit. 1 tb of HDD storage.

Ilja: not using XFire. I know it's unusual, I've done a fair bit of googling on this subject.

grimus: thanks for the links.

Finally, I am not new to modding and I know a fair bit about computers, so feel free to give me technical terms.

Only thing I see and wonder why you haven't got them are the unofficial patches. You have only patch for skyrim.
Rogue Jun 23, 2015 @ 3:34pm
The unofficial patches aren't causing this, when i start it through the regular launcher it starts fine.

Sorry, had to go to the vampire clinic to get blood tests done.
If using SKSE and this is happening then one of your mods is the issue maybe needs another mod that uses SKSE to activate through..
Unofficial patches were missing from your game and are vital for the smaller missing issues etc. But that your choice in using them or not.
Some mods maybe looking and require them!.

Inexplicably solved itself. I just have to run it as administrator through a few crashes then it magically works. Didn't even change anything.

Ha! just of those glitches, have fun playing.

Thanks.
