Does the Ring of Hircine/Savior's Hide Glitch still work?

No it still works with the unofficial patch you just have to do it right.

Here is how you do it.

When you enter Bloated Mans Grotto, tell Sinding you will help him. Kill all the hunters, but don't talk to him until you save your game just to be safe.

After you save your game talk to him. At that point the cursed ring of Hircine is no longer a quest item. Take the Cursed RIng of Hircine and store it in a chest or on a follower.

Exit the Grotto and the spirit of Hircine will appear and speak to you. Do NOT speak to Hircine or choose any of the speaking options, instead escape the conversation and go back into the Grotto. Hircine will stay there and wait.

Kill Sinding inside the Grotto and tear the skin from him. Hircine will appear and give you the Saviors Hide. Store the Saviors hide in the same chest or on the same follower.

Exit the Grotto and speak to the Hircine you left outside and he will give you the Ring of Hircine.

Go back into the Grotto and grab the Saviors Hide and Cursed Ring of Hiricine from the chest or from your follower.

If you messed up somehow reload the save you made and try again.

This doesn't work anymore with an Unofficial Patch installed. Once you get either reward, the quest is automatically ended and when you leave the grotto, Hircine isn't there anymore (but was when re-entering the grotto again). Don't waste your time like i did.

What do you mean, it still works even in 2021. I know this is a necro post, but whoever wants to try out the quest, this crazy bug still works since 2011. I just did the quest just then, killed sinding after getting the uncursed version of Hircine's ring, and it works like a charm.
