How do you update to 1.9?

apparently steamo nly gets it to 1.3 and I cant' find the patch any-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-where.
I've bven tried to pirate the patch and didn't evne ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work.
Am I missing something or is steam this damn useless?
If anyone could show me the light I'd be very thankful.

Try this Go to the game in steam library. Right click>properties>updates tab make sure top setting is keep this game up to date auto. While your there, go on over to local files tab and verify game cache. It always 1 invalid file.

No avail; it didn't update anything, the details on the skyrim launcher file says 1.3 still.
The cache detected 4 and I'm unsure what it even changed.

LMAO, the launcher file is just that, a launcher v 1.3.22.0. The game file is TESV.exe it should be v 1.9.32.0. You should still verify your cache again and wait for the download to finish, then check again, until your down to the 1 file not verified.

It's done. the game was still a older version but I downloaded a torrent of update 13 and done.

The last version of Skyrim is 1.9.32.0.8 this can be found by pressing ESC when in-gane. It's faint but down and to the left of Quit.

How that download you have just completed will affect your game D'rakk may be a problem in the future.
