Iron Ore and Other Ore Deposits

I'm new to the game, vanilla, and I was wondering wheather or not ore deposits respawn. The mines, exposed above ground etc. I have found tons of ore but right now I'm running short on iron ore for smelting into iron ingots because of building my own homes which as you know requires a heap and a bunch of iron ingots as well as other metals.

Also! I need a "Fast Mining" mod. Three to four whacks with a pickaxe is like "Hurry up and wait". Sloooow! Need something to get ore quick, fast and in a hurry!

They do not respawn but there was a mod on the Workshop or Nexusmods.com where you had the ability to smelt armour and weapons which you didn't need into ores.

You don't need to use the mining animation by hitting E next to a deposit. You can attack the deposit with a pickaxe like an enemy and you will still mine ore and it is alot faster.

You should look into the mod that increases the amount of ore you can mine from each deposit and a mod like fast respawn, so everything respawn faster.

When mining, you don't have to activate the deposit and do the slow mining animation.

Simply equip a pickaxe and start attacking the ore. It's much faster. For extreme mining lulz, dual wield pickaxes and use Elemental Fury shout

Mines DO respawn, the same as the ore deposits above ground. All respawnng areaa have a preset number of days before ore becomes available again. If you return to that area before the set number of days, than you get no ore and the timer resets from Day 1 again.

I definitely like the mods where you can smelt to increase smithing skills as well as to get ingots. However, I have now also reached a point where money comes more easily and I can buy the iron ingots from the vendors, too.

Part of that is by killing things in the world and selling their loot but even if you don't adventure that much, you can get decent money from starting enchanting and selling those items.

Nexus mod = More mining and faster, has 4 version to choose from, my favorite is 9X, which takes 27 swings to get 27 ore, smelt the 27 ore and get 13.5 ingots = just from 1 ore vein. VANILLA game gives you 9 swings for 3 ore which = 1.5 ingots

So! After depleting all ore deposits in a mine or an above ground deposit, all I have to do is "Rest" for thirty days before going back to a mine or an above ground deposit before it respawns? That would be like, "I can do that in fifteen minutes or less!". BUT! Don't go back to a mine or site during that "Rest" period because it will reset to thirty days again and you gain nothing? That's something I can do!
