At the Summit of Apocrypha - Dragonborn - GLITCH

I have unlocked the Bend Will shout previously, but don't think it showed in diary. I reach the part where I'm suppose to "tame" a dragon with the shout but the dragon does not appear and I am stuck. I have tried reloading previous saves. I have got there before, fought the dragon but not been able to tame it. I do not notice Miraak there at all either, but I thought the dragon is supposed to carry me to Miraak.

What should I do? I have heard a lot of people have been having issues with the Dragonborn DLC. I have run out of answers! Is there any console commands I can use to fix the issue?

I tried the command "setstage dlc2mq06 200" to add it to journey but it did not solve the issue. I have also loaded past save games and waited for the woman to say about avenging her father but still have an issue. I hope it gets solved soon.

Yeah, I have all 3 dragon words. I have had battle with dragon but I cannot tame it with the word. I even get it to lowest health and then after sometime it gets up and flys around again. What would you suggest?

IDK, the only thing I can think of is maybe the game doesn't realize you know the shout??

It mat be that you are taking too much health away. I know this will sometimes bug out Mirrak. Haven't heard of it happening with any other character though. Try a less powerful weapon. If this doesn't work then I'm at the end of what I know to try. Also once he is on the ground keep using dragon rend to keep him there.

Yes, I know. Read the page I posted earlier, there is a bug with mirrak where if his health goes down too far a script that is needed doesn't trigger. I doubt this is your issue, but worth a try. You may be bugged out to badly to get things right. :-( At this point were just throwing everything at it to see if anything sticks...

I was having the same problem as you, shouting "Bend Will" at the dragon and nothing was happening, until I found the solution

Hold down the Shout button longer. Pressing it shortly just activates the first word of the shout. You need to hold it down long enough for all 3 words to activate.

Numerous bugs. Missing textures at top of ramp in chapter 6 (solved by verifying game files). Couldn't learn word because nothing happened when I approached wall (solved by numerous attempts at toggling collision off until it just miraculously worked randomly), can't draw weapon with Miraak (solved randomly again as the capability just returns mid-battle). All, this, very painful due to being in VR. At one point, I powered off the VR and just researched the problems. Took two days to finish quest.
