Healing Hands Causing Followers to Attack
I often end up wanting to play as a priest/support mage that uses restoration, alteration, and illusion spells to influence combat from a distance while a follower or two does the hand to hand combat for me. My only problem is that when one of my followers starts to die, using healing hands on them often turns their aggression towards me. Quickly sheathing my magic makes them no longer upset with me, but if I am not fast enough my follower often kills me as Master and Legendary difficulty turns the player into a marshmallow in terms of defense. Is there any known fix for healing hands causing your allies to attack you? (Also this is only during combat when they get angry at the player for no reason, outside of combat they don't have an issue with it)

^ lol

A true nord would want to die in battle. Your healing hands are robbing your followers from an honorable death.

Do you get the same result with Heal Other?

haven't tried heal other, but I have figured something out. briefly healing the target doesnt piss em off. My gut hurts so much from Dr. Luvnak, I can't stop laughing

One of the Black books from the Dragonborn DLC offers an active effect called: Companions Insight, it protects your followers from any damage you put out.
