Calcelmo dwarven armor

In the quest where calcelmo to take him the item im bringing to him
dwarven armor of major alteration
when he asks to see it it only gives the chat ''im not sure i have it anymore''
and i have it equiped, what to do?
Tried equiping it, selling to him, puting in his pocket and nothing works or its suposed to be a normal armor of alteration and not major?

I think you need to un-equip before he can accept it.

It sounds like you have tempered it or something else. either find/buy a new armor he wants or just finish/cancel quest.

Calcelmo's quests are bugged it seems, I have one where I'm supposed to bring him a dwarven ingot, I have one but he wont' accept it...

your game is missing info, try going back to Calcelmo and make a save, then load that save. If that doesn't work, try VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE
