dragonborn skaal bug can anyone help please?
hi guys iv finished the temple of miraak and am to believe that frea activates the next part by heading back to skaal village and talking to Storn, but nothing happens only quest complete. any suggestions on what im doing wrong would be much appreciated, thanks .

As you follow her back to the village you draw near the Tree Stone, she should ask you to free the people, using Bend Will shout will do it. Then continue to village and proceed from there.

did you read the black book before leaving Miraak's temple through the back door with Frea

hi yeah i read the book when the quest told me to and as we left to go back to the village she doesnt say anything just walks straight back and into the shamans hut.

Use your Bend Will shout on the Stone at Miraak's Temple and the Stone just north of the temple near the path to the village freeing the Skaal. then go to the village and speak to the Shaman.

Edit: My Bad, got the series of event wrong. On the walk back to the village she will talk about her people enslaved at the stone north of the path to the village and also mention that it looks like the barrier her father has constructed is still up around the village. Go with her and she should go to her father who is meditating with two others. Run through the dialogue with Storn and that should trigger the Saering's Watch quest.

i did try that when i found out about the shout i done all the stones but it still wouldnt let me talk to anyone to start the quest to unlock the rest of bend will shout to defeat miraak lol its really annoying because im level 54 i dont want to have to start over.

So, you had already gotten the first word of the Bend Will shout and freed all the stones before even going to Miraac's Temple?

Console commands! I wouldn't know the exact values so I recommend looking it up online but just use the setstage command to begin the next quest. The wiki bug section will usually explain the reason for things like this plus the best fix. Just look up the quest name and scroll to the bottom.

Well. The page recommends reverting back from an earlier save. Try that (if you have one) and hope it works.
But by the sounds of it you have already done everything this quest has you do before even getting the quest... In which case I would try "setstage DLC2MQ03 70" which should give you the objective of returning to him after it has all been done. Word learned, stone and people free.

And if that doesn't work change 70 to 200 to register the quest completely finished. If that doesn't begin the next quest use "setstage DLC2MQ04 10" which should give you the objective of going to talk to Neloth.
Don't forget to make SEPERATE saves before doing any of this as if it fails it might permanently leave you with no way to fix it and you'll have to start over.

Did a quick edit to my last post. Accidentally put PQ instead of MQ for the command. Don't know how I managed that.

ok lol quick question, i want to back up my saves incase console corrupts the files or something buti cant find my saved games in any of the folders
