run it as admin if nesseccary.
you wont loose your progress as long as you back up your saves
run it as admin.
keep in mind, that some animation mods dont use FNIS or may even conflict with FNIS.
check your mods for known incompatibilities
I had a similar problem with a mod ruining Deer and Elk's animations. They wouldn't animate, just float and skate around.
Starting a new game (or loading a save prior to the mod installation) fixed it.
Did have skeleton arm fix installed? needs to be ticked
Did you install animation for 1H weapon? needs to be tick
Same for other type patches
When uninstalling did you uninstall creatures if you have that section install (a must)
After uninstalling did you run BOSS it will state if FNIS is still in game or not.
^This and GENDER Spesific Animations are required.

All i did was re-install it, but I think what I did was, when I was uninstalling some mods I must have deleted "Skyrim Animation" by mistake. :P
