All wolves are ice wolves problem
All wolves in my game are Ice wolves and as I hope you can imagine that is very annoying, when I'm at a low level and not standing a chance when I'm meeting enemies that are very hard at a low level. Doe anyone know waht this come of? Mod, file mistake, anything?

Go into settings once in-game and switch difficulity down to novice until you get a better handle on the game.

There are a couple of mods that change the doggies into various other wolfen and canine varieties - do you have any of them installed?

I've played this game alot and it's not that it is impossible, but it's still a pain in the ass to fight ice wolves in level 1.

I had a skin mod for the wolves, but when I uninstalled it there was no difference.

How did you uninstall it?
Perhaps you thought you removed it [unsubscribed?]

maybe its in another file on your pewta?
Or maybe there's a retexture (ooo did I actually use the right tech word?) of doggies in another mod you have

I dunno, all I know is that if a wolf is supposed to be a low level "wolf" it is white and the same level as ice wolves, but still are named "wolf" not Ice wolf.

That's what I did.
Start your Skyrim Launcher, click Data Files, and see if the mod is still there. If it is, then you need to delete it.
Unsubscribing does not delete the mod [however, it will disable it from loading, perhaps you re-enabled it]. To actually remove the mod, you have to delete it.

Here's some pics of what I'm talking about:

Didn't make any difference, but thanks anyway.

But was the mod still there? Did you end up deleteing it?

--Perhaps it's a respawn issues; maybe the ingame creatures need to be reset.
I think the game respawn timer is 30 game days. To reset it, go into an interior cell that does not contain NPCs/animals/creatures. Next, you'll have to "wait" 30 days; it this will take a while if you do it by using the vanilla game tools [Pressing "T" and waiting].

--There's a mod [that I use], it allows you to load the "Wait" menu and enter a varied amount, between 1-23 hours, and/or 1-30 days. Once loaded, hit the "30 Days" on the wait menu, and let it do it's thing until it's done.
