Other problem is that Skyrim is a bit clunky from console translation. It has it's share of bugs and most of them are fixed by the community. That work wouldn't work with mac either.
I am sorry, but Mac is unlikely to get support anytime soon, if ever - and mods most likely never.
Edit: Wait a minute... you have 886 hours in the game. Did you actually switched your game computer from PC to Mac?
Many players have considered this almost impossible to get work. However, many players have actually got it right for the first time.
Flip of a coin, unless you are planning to install other games in similar matter.
In a way it's difficult to do. It took me a while to get it running because you have to make sure you do everything right. But people who pay attention to the directions will get it done the first time and have few or no issues.
1. Destroy your mac
2. Go to the store
3. Buy a windows computer.
4. ???
5. Profit
Fine
Step 1. Wipe yo harddrive
Step 2. Install windows
Step 3. Get a virus on yo windows
step 4 ???
Step 5. Profit
As others have mentioned the other alt is to dual boot your PC.
Haven't followed Mac os in so long I can't debate the virus issues one way or another. Same as using Linux variations. Haven't used it in so long I wouldn't know how stable an OS it is. Actually I don't know if Mac Os is better than the last version I used OS3 maybe. Still it is a crappy OS IMO.
I must say I found some of the anti-Apple hysteria surprising in its venom and not very helpful.
It has been kind of a mac week...
I am sorry, if we couldn't help you, or if you felt that your question was unwelcomed here. Hopefully we managed to give you at least some help here.
