BOSS load sorting not affecting Wrye Bash
This might actually not be a real issue. I'm unsure if this is how it is supposed to work, but Wrye Bash's load order is never the same as BOSS's, which is an issue because that means I have to manually re-order all my mods to make a stable bahsed patch.

I've been doing that, but after installing Dragonborn, merging plugins, and whatnot, I now have over 300 plugins that need to be in the right place. Not all are active, of course (the real number being around 220) but they still need to be manually sorted since BOSS doesn't seem to communicate its load order to Bash.

Thing is, everything else BOSS does gets communicated to Bash (tags and whatnot), but the load order is hoplessly out of whack. I've tried searching on google for info about my specific problem, I've read the Bash general AND advanced readme. The issue of load order between the two doesn't even seem to come up. So now I'm asking: Before I give myself carpal tunnel manually ordering all these mods, can someone please tell me if there's something wrong, or how to get Wrye Bash and BOSS to communicate on the issue of load order? Thanks.

I guess what I'm really asking: Is there an easy way to import a load order into Wrye Bash? Because I'm not finding any info on this at all.

If you run BOSS and *the* run Wrybash and Bash's load order is different from BOSS then you need to check your BOSS settings - specifically ensure BOSS has been told to actually make the changes to the masterlist rather than just list its reccommended order.

Thing is, it does change the master list. It affects Nexus Mods and the game's mod order. Wrye Bash is the only one that's different.

I checked, and yes, BOSS is updating the masterlist, which I already knew because in every other program the load order is updated. Wrye Bash insists on keeping everything in a sort-of alphbetical order (but not really, because a lot of mods aren't in alphabetical order, so its weird).

Okay, so this is messed up: I started fiddling with options, and when I clicked "sort by...modified" everything went into the correct order with a few exceptions. I thought: Cool. I don't get it, but cool. But then I couldn't change the order of the mods, and when I switch it back to "load order" it all goes out of order again. Again, BOSS dosn't seem to be the problem. BOSS updates everything else correctly.

EDIT: I apologize that I've been multiposting. I was flipping back and forth between this and Bash and I forgot myserl. Sorry.

Anyways, the load order when I select it to sort by load is actually close to the right order in some places, but in others it seems almost like its trying to default to alphabetical. IKD why, but it seems like BASH is trying to do a load order sorting of its own when I open it up.
